March 2008 – Part II
More news for the month of March: PLAIN MAGAZINE has accepted my science fiction story, MORE NATURAL TO THE HUMAN HEART. This futuristic tale of over population and rampant immigration is scheduled to appear in issue #2, (due to ship mid April).
Go check it out.
This month, not only is BLACK STATIC issue #3 out, but so is MURKY DEPTHS issue #3, and both contain stories by yours truly.
MURKY DEPTHS (www.murkydepths.com/), as you can see from the banner below, features my short science-fiction/horror story, SPEAK ILL OF THE DEAD, beautifully illustrated by Mark Bell.
Whilst BLACK STATIC has my weird World War 1 story, THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN, and artwork (both cover and interiors) by the amazing David Gentry.
You can check out the first review of issue #3 at THE FIX short fiction review site.
Go out a grab a copy of both. You won’t regret it. Honest!
Also this month I received word from Barbara Roden that All Hallows # 44 is now in production at Ash Tree Press. My story, Black Eyed Dog, isn’t planned for inclusion in #44, but Barbara is hard at work scheduling the tales for the next two issues of All Hallows, a magazine always worth the wait, so watch this space.
That’s all for now. Take care and all the best,
